In BERSIH 2.0’s earlier release welcoming back Dato’ Dr Toh Kin Woon into the Steering Committee, this time as the Northern Peninsula Vice-Chairperson, we omitted to mention that Aliran was one of the endorsers of his nomination.
We apologise to Aliran for this oversight, which we will take steps to prevent in future with better checks in our work procedure.
We also would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge Aliran as one of NGOs that is actively committed to the cause, as demonstrated by its offer to be the secretariat for northern peninsula at the regional elections meeting, which was also held at its office.
