I am a fresh registered voter in Sandakan, Sabah but my job is based in Johor Bahru, Johor. Is that mean that i have to go back to the east to vote?

Any other option instead of changing my IC address and flying back to the east?

I have registered in early Feb-2013 to be an ovberseas voter in China. However when I checked my application status in SPR website online on Apr-11th, the status was still shown as under process. I contacted SPR & was told that my name is on the voter list for a local school in Shah Alam & therefore I am eligible to vote in person in Shah Alam. That’s fine as I then planned to return to Malaysia. I remained in China till Apr-26th and I did not receive any nottificaton about my overseas postal voter application status. Only yesterday when I checked online again about my overseas voter application status, I am surprised to learn that my application was successful & I has been told to vote in Beijing’s M’sia Embassy on Apr-28th. I was too late as I am already back to Malaysia & I did not received any notification att all until Apr-26th.
Now when I checked my name in SPR website, it is still shown as a local voter in Shah Alam local school. I am worry SPR may remove my name sooner or I may not find my name in the polling centre on May-05th.
Pls advise whether should I make complaint to SPR.
    Thank you.
